Unlocking Holiday Magic: Tips for Creating Your Enchanting Home Inspiration with NYC’s ABC Carpet and Home

I am so excited to share my latest shopping weekend experience here in NYC with one of my favorite stores, ABC Carpet and Home.  Situated in Manhattan, it has gained a reputation for offering a curated selection of high-quality and stylish home furnishings. Since it is the holidays, the storefront had its own whimsical flare and made you feel like you were about to enter a holiday wonderland of goods. 

As I entered the space, it had its own unique and eclectic mix of products, including furniture, rugs, lighting, home decor, and more. I got to see lots of emphasis is on artisanal and handcrafted items, and a beautiful showcase of a variety of styles, from contemporary to vintage. Let’s not forget the Indian touches of these modern statues and ornamentations of boho chic styles. 

One of the distinctive features of ABC Carpet & Home is its commitment to sustainability and eco-friendly practices. They have been known for promoting environmentally conscious products and strongly focus on ethical sourcing, so I’m featuring this week’s business spotlight on NYC’s well-known home store motto of “Where Magic Happens.”

I found plenty of magic in all the holiday décor which had dining tables well dressed and ready for the holidays. I loved all the olive-colored accents that seemed to be the theme color in most of the table dressings with a touch of sparkle. (My favorite!). Plus, all the amazing dinnerware, flatware, and gorgeous antique cups and saucers one would just swoon over. 

In addition to the retail space, ABC Carpet & Home featured art installations and exhibitions, contributing to its reputation as a store and a destination for design inspiration. The store's interior is often praised for its aesthetic appeal and how products are displayed, I just loved the vintage shelving which was a perfect backdrop to showcase all the beautiful table accessories one could dream of. 

I enjoy styling my home with memories and antique treasures from my journeys. This is called a “global style” in interior design, where “eclectic design” merges various styles, periods, and cultural elements to create a diverse and personalized look.  ABC Carpet and Home is perfect for those seeking one-of-a-kind pieces of designer furniture and creating a “global style”. I always look for handmade items from local artisans during my travels. This store already stocks up so many unique pieces that you don’t even need to go anywhere to achieve this look.

Now let’s talk about the beautiful ornaments for your Christmas tree! I saw vintage, contemporary, and all kinds of coastal wonder themes for the tree, just stunning. I was able to get a few beauties for my tree this year, just know the pricing can be more on the high-end so be sure to pick the ones that bring you the most joy.
